You might recall a few weeks ago I had the audacity to suggest that cruise prices were going up and that rock bottom pricing was a thing of the past.

I was wrong.

Maybe it’s the time of year or perhaps cruise lines have empty cabins to fill, but the discounting over the past two weeks has been frantic. Carnival came out with pricing starting at $33 a day and a guarantee that you will love your cruise or get your money back.  Quite honestly, I almost can’t stay home for $33 a day and I can guarantee you that at that price, I wouldn’t want my money back. Other cruise lines followed suit, though they’ve not dropped lower than Carnival.

I’m not really sure what’s happening, but I’m not complaining. With prices rises on everything from soup to nuts, finding cruise bargains is refreshing.

So if you’ve been waiting for the right price to take a cruise, your time has come. Take the plunge! Book it fast; book it now because these prices can’t possibly last more than a few months.
